How do we improve in AIESEC?

How do we improve in AIESEC?

Just like how we mentioned in our previous blog, AIESEC is a youth-organization where we put faith in the youth, in order to unlock a better future. Howewer, there are certain attributes that we appreciate from our membership and ways to measure our successes as the time goes by. Thus, let us present to you our so called Values, and our Leadership Development Assesement to make sure that after you read this blog, you will have more insight, and knowledge about us, and you will have the happiest time in your life after getting these information.

As you can see in this illustration, we represent 6 values, and each of them has a different meaning. Thankfully no man and woman is perfect, but as AIESECers, we try our best to represent these values during the semester. Personally, my favorite one is “enjoying participation”, because if you can fulfill this value, than it is easier to complete the other ones too. What would be your favourite, if you could choose one?

On the other hand, we have the Leadership Development Assesement. This idea rather focuses on the personality traits, how you can become a better leader. Thereby, these are the 4 main assesements by their name, and their meaning.

The one that I would highlight here is nothing else but the self-awareness element. It is just as important than the others, but what you should know about AIESEC, is that we put extra effort to improve ourselves, consequently we give a lot of feedbacks to each other both professionally and personally. Thus, it is easier to discover your strengths and your weaknesses, and then figure out how to capitalize on them, or how to correct them.

Overall, I hope this blog gave you a little picture of what we do in AIESEC. If you have any thought in your mind in sense of what could be your favourite Values, or your Leadership Development Assesement, leave a comment a below, we are very interested about your answers. 🙂

See you soon
